I’ve hated how high school exposes you to all these different subjects and by college, you focus on one and you can pretty much drop everything else. I always thought it would’ve been simpler if you could choose to take only, say, science classes in high school and get way ahead in college. But now that I’m actually in college, I miss the feeling of understanding things in different areas and feeling like I’m actually educated. Earlier, I walked by an integral equation drawn in chalk on the ground and i felt so stupid because I didn’t understand it anymore. I miss that feeling of that light bulb finally turning on in my head. That doesn’t happen in art. Goodbye left brain. You served me well and I’ll miss you.
